Garlic Meatballs

I love making and eating pasta, but you need that protein to make it a complete meal. These garlic meatballs are easy to make and full of flavor! Eat them with my linguine or spinach pasta! You can add marinara sauce or make a simple sauce with butter, lemon juice and more garlic!

Here's how to make them:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat (chicken, pork, beef, vegetarian - I used a 80/20 pork beef blend)

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish

  • 2 TBS. freshly chopped parsley

  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Kosher salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 TBS olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix together the ground meat, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper then form into tablespoon-sized meatballs.

  2. Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat to medium.

  3. Add and cook the meatballs until golden on all sides and cooked through, about 10 minutes.

  4. Add to pasta, zoodles, or eat them on their own and enjoy!
